Alison Kent links to Wendy Duren's blog entry about being disappointed in Romancing the Blog. Like Alison and Wendy, I would enjoy more columns from a reader-focused perspective; I figured that was simply my preference.

I tend to agree. Not being a writer, or even a writer wannabe, I'm not particularly interested in the minutiae of writing and critiquing and promoting. Some of these columns have been interesting anyway, but as a rule, like you, I prefer the more reader-focused columns.
