Silver Lining?
Good Things about Being Sick on Your Birthday
- You don't waste a lot of time deciding what to do. It's a simple process: take medicine, blow nose, read, play electronic Yahtzee, read, sleep, get on computer, repeat.
- You're too busy looking for your tissues to give a second thought to how old you are now.
- You spend so much time being sick that you don't worry about painful self-analysis of where you are and where you wanted to be on your 30-something birthday.
- Your sister may feel sorry for you and bring you lunch.

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well but you seem to have your spirits up. Happy birthday! Now you have an excuse to celebrate on another day when you're feeling better.
A belated "happy birthday" from me, too! So sorry those nasty viruses, bacteria or whatever they were picked that day to attack!
Thank you both for your birthday wishes. I'll probably do a bit of belated celebrating this week, both with family and with friends.
:)
